This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may return or exchange products purchased from us.

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and specifications to help you make informed decisions. However, if a product does not meet your expectations or requirements, we offer a fair and transparent return process in accordance with Finnish consumer protection laws and European Union regulations.

2. Return Period and Eligibility

2.1 Standard Return Period

You have the right to return most products within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. This return period applies to products purchased directly from our website or showroom. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact.

2.2 Extended Return Period

During special promotional periods or holiday seasons, we may offer extended return windows. Any extended return periods will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase and will be subject to the same conditions as our standard return policy.

2.3 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer protection regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This cooling-off period begins on the day you receive the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision through a clear statement sent to our contact address.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned due to their nature, customization, or hygiene considerations. Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom-made or personalized furniture and décor items made to your specifications
  • Products that have been assembled, installed, or modified
  • Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage not caused by manufacturing defects
  • Products with removed tags, labels, or packaging that cannot be resold
  • Clearance, sale, or final sale items marked as non-returnable
  • Textile products that have been washed or altered
  • Opened or used personal care or hygiene products
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Gift cards and vouchers

4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team within the applicable return period. Please provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

4.2 Return Authorization

Once we receive your return request, we will review it and provide you with a Return Authorization Number and detailed instructions for returning the item. Please do not send items back without first obtaining a Return Authorization Number, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.

4.3 Packaging and Shipping

Pack the item securely in its original packaging, if possible, to prevent damage during transit. Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation that came with the product. Attach the Return Authorization Number to the outside of the package. You are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

4.4 Return Shipping Costs

For returns due to change of mind or preference, you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. For returns due to defective products or shipping errors, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

5. Inspection and Processing

5.1 Inspection Period

Upon receiving your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return eligibility criteria. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days. We will examine the product for signs of use, damage, or missing components. If the item does not meet our return conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply a restocking fee.

5.2 Approval or Rejection

Once the inspection is complete, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return. If your return is approved, we will process your refund or exchange according to your preference. If your return is rejected, we will provide a detailed explanation and offer to return the item to you at your expense.

6. Refunds

6.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval. If you paid by credit card, the refund will appear on your statement within 1-2 billing cycles depending on your card issuer. If you paid by bank transfer, the refund will be sent to the account from which payment was received.

6.2 Refund Amount

Your refund will include the purchase price of the returned item(s). Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. If you received free shipping on your original order due to a promotional offer, the actual shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.

6.3 Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted for items that are returned with signs of use, minor damage, or missing components. The amount of the partial refund will be determined based on the condition of the item and its resale value. We will always contact you before processing a partial refund to discuss your options.

6.4 Restocking Fees

For large furniture items or special order products, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to cover handling, inspection, and repackaging costs. Any applicable restocking fees will be communicated to you before you complete the return process.

7. Exchanges

7.1 Exchange Process

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please follow the return process outlined above and indicate that you would like an exchange. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will ship the replacement item to you. If there is a price difference between the items, we will either charge you the difference or refund the excess amount.

7.2 Exchange Availability

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the item you wish to exchange for is out of stock, we will notify you and offer alternative options or process a refund instead. We will hold your exchange request for up to 14 days while awaiting stock replenishment.

7.3 Exchange Shipping

For exchanges due to sizing or preference, you are responsible for return shipping costs, and we will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item. For exchanges due to defective products or our error, we will cover both return and replacement shipping costs.

8. Defective or Damaged Products

8.1 Reporting Defects

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately upon receipt. We recommend inspecting all items upon delivery and reporting any issues within 48 hours. Please provide photographs of the defect or damage along with your order number to expedite the resolution process.

8.2 Resolution Options

For defective or damaged products, we will offer one of the following solutions based on your preference and product availability:

  • Full refund including original shipping costs
  • Replacement with an identical item at no additional cost
  • Repair or restoration of the item if feasible
  • Store credit for the full purchase amount plus a goodwill gesture

8.3 Manufacturing Defects

Products with manufacturing defects are covered under our quality guarantee. If a defect becomes apparent after the standard return period but within one year of purchase, please contact us to discuss warranty options. We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

9. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item due to our error, we will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at no additional cost and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item. We apologize for any inconvenience and will prioritize resolving the issue quickly. In cases of significant inconvenience, we may offer additional compensation such as expedited shipping or a discount on your next purchase.

10. Cancellations

10.1 Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it according to our standard return policy once you receive it. To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

10.2 Custom Orders

Custom-made or special order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun. We will inform you of the cancellation deadline at the time of order placement. If you need to cancel a custom order after production has started, cancellation fees may apply to cover materials and labor costs incurred.

11. International Returns

For customers outside Finland, return procedures may vary based on your location and local regulations. International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs duties or taxes incurred. Please contact us before initiating an international return to receive specific instructions and discuss the most cost-effective return method.

International returns may take longer to process due to customs clearance and extended shipping times. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for international returns.

12. Store Credit

As an alternative to a refund, you may choose to receive store credit for the full value of your return, including original shipping costs. Store credit never expires and can be used for any future purchase. Store credit offers greater flexibility and allows you to explore other products in our collection without losing the value of your original purchase.

13. Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish and European Union law. You have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your legal rights, including your right to a repair, replacement, or refund under applicable consumer protection legislation.
